Greater Wisconsin Political Fund believes...

...that justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court should be fair and impartial. For too long, we have seen conservatives on the Wisconsin State Supreme Court siding in favor of big corporate interests and the wealthy donors to their campaigns. Over the past several years right wing groups have spent millions of dollars trying to defeat members of the Court who reject their anti-worker, anti middle class political agenda.

With your help, Greater Wisconsin Political Fund has fought back against these attacks.  Our work is focused on educating the public to make sure our justices meet the highest standards of ethics and integrity. The people of Wisconsin deserve and expect no less of those serving on our state’s highest court.  We work to make sure that the political agendas and voting records of conservatives on the Court are made known to the public through media campaigns.

Current Efforts

Justice David Prosser’s top aide has said the he will serve as a complement to Scott Walker and the conservative dominated state legislature.  The same aide said Prosser’s views “closely mirror” Walker’s views.

Prior to becoming a justice Prosser served as the Republican Speaker of the State Assembly, where we consistently voted against the interests of the middle class.  In fact, when Scott Walker and Prosser served together in the legislature they voted the same way 95% of the time, voting against collective bargain rights and working people.

We will be working to make sure the public is educated about where Prosser stands on issues and his past record.  We need to tell Prosser that as a justice on the supreme court he should be fair and impartial not a rubber stamp for Scott Walker.
